I've only followed one blogger on a regular basis and that's +Barb Cooper - I think since 2003 or 4?something like that - anyway before it was a blog when she was just broadcast emailing her astute observations of her life and her children. Barb is back in Texas and I've been sharing her latest observations with Melanie as we've often felt connected with Barb as she articulates thoughts that reverberate in our own lives. Barb wondered yesterday whether she had a right to call herself an author which amazed me since she writes with such deft precision. But then it got me thinking about the labels any of us feel we confident about assigning ourselves: How many of feel slightly fraudulent about the titles around our necks? So I decided to start thinking aloud here and if the thought processes seems to meander a little, it's probably me.
